Epic Kelly Tarltons

On Friday the 8th of September 2017 all of hub 2/ hub raa were going to visit Kelly tarltons. The teachers asked some parents if they wanted to help. The teachers also were helping on the trip. We were visiting Kelly tarltons for a reason the reason was because it linked to our school production (under the sea). We also were learning about cause and effect. It was going to be awesome!!!


After the bell went we all sat in the golden zone. Mrs Harduar called our names. Only 2 people took there bags while the others were going toilet. We sat in lines and got to know our parent helper. Mr Lunn did a final roll call.


We finally went on the bus. I got a great seat to me. There were two big busses. We split into different busses. When everyone was on the bus we weaved down to Mission Bay. I felt really excited and nervous.


On the bus it was really loud. I felt annoyed because it was so loud. We rode a bus because it was faster than anything. Finally we arrived.

Crazy Crab Art

W.H.A.L.T We have been learnig about presedures. This is an example of a crab presedure.


Goal:
To make a crazy crab out of a paper plate.


Materials

• Paper plate
• Red card
• Googly eyes (optional)
• Permanent marker (black)

Steps:

1. Get your materials and put them on a table.
2. Get your paper plate and fold it in half.
3. Get your googly eyes and stick them on the top of your paper plate.
4. Get the permanent marker and draw a mouth on the bottom of your paper plate.
5. Make sure you can still see the mouth.
6. Cut little pieces of paper and stick them on the top of the paper plate.
7. Cut little strips of paper X4.
8. Cut little pincers X2.

Revolutionary Rice

Rice is the most remarkable food on earth because it tastes notable.


Rice is typically a white and sometimes a browny colour. Rice is tiny because it is a grain. Rice looks like the seeds on the side of a loaf of bread.


Rice is truly noiseless because it has no crunch and it is really soft. Rice is also a bit brittle.


Rice is hard if you eat it plainly, although rice is really nice you might choke on them.


Rice tastes scrumptious because of the ingredients. Rice is a delicious food.


Rice smells bland and fragrant because of its ingredients.

I think you should eat rice totally.

Crazy cornflour goo

W.A.H.L.T we have been learning how to use our senses like look smell feel taste hear. We also have been learning about compound and complex sentences.

Cornflour goo has a sticky texture.
Cornflour goo is a squishy texture because of the Ingredients.

Cornflour goo can be made in many different colours. If you don't put water in (which is basically plane cornflour) it feels lumpy and rough.

Although cornflour goo is one type of goo, there are lots of other types like glow in the dark goo,smelly goo,origanal goo and cornflour goo.

Cornflour goo tastes terrible ,horrible and hirrefec. Cornflour goo can sometimes work but other times It doesn't. Cornflour goo is fun to play with, although you can't eat it.
